Popilipop Connect app for iPhone and iPad

Popilipop Connect is a turn by turn action word game. Player has one minute to make word that starts with the last letter of the word from previous turn. This game requires Game Center to work.

The game starts off with a pool of 10 coins. 1 additional coin will be added to the pool for each turn. Winner of the game takes all the coins at the end! Coins can be used to buy more time, retry, and double round score!

This application keeps track of words that each player uses in each game and no duplicated words are allowed to make the game more challenging.

This application also saves all the words the user uses and provides an interface to lookup the definition of the word using the internal dictionary.

Scoring:

The game uses the following formula to calculate the score.

1 pt letters - A, E, I, O, U
2 pt letters - D, G, L. N, R, S. T
3 pt letters - B, C, F, H, M, P
4 pt letters - K, V, W, Y
5 pt letters - J, Q, X, Z

Word Score = The sum of all the letter scores * (the length of the word - 2)

For examples,

CAT = (3)+(1)+(2) * (3 - 2) = 6 points
CATCH = (3)+(1)+(2)+(3)+(3) * (5-2) = 36 points (The extra 2 letters - C & H gets you 30 more points!)
CATCHER = (3)+(1)+(2)+(3)+(3)+(1)+(2) * (7-2) = 75 points(These two 1 & 2 point letters now worth 39 extra points!) Of course, tagging along an extra S will make your word worth a whopping 102 points! You can make 3 letter words all day long but in order to score big, you need loooooooooong words!
